Hispania Racing F1 Team
Hispania Racing F1 Team (HRT) was a Spanish Formula One team that competed from 2010-2012, one of three new teams joining in 2010. Founded by former driver Adrian Campos (though he left before the first race), HRT was chronically underfunded from the start. The team struggled with reliability and pace, consistently finishing last in the championship and never scoring a point. HRT gave opportunities to Spanish drivers including Pedro de la Rosa and Jaime Alguersuari.
Despite representing Spain's first F1 team, lack of funding and competitive performance led to HRT's withdrawal after the 2012 season. The team symbolized the challenges new entrants face in modern Formula One.
