Minardi was the quintessential underdog team, competing in Formula One from 1985-2005 despite chronic underfunding. Founded by Giancarlo Minardi, the small Italian team never won a race or achieved a podium, but earned respect for their passion and perseverance. Red Bull purchased Minardi in 2005, transforming it into Scuderia Toro Rosso. Minardi's legacy lives on in F1's enduring underdog spirit.
