Vandervell Products Ltd
1958
Vanwall was the first British team to win the Formula One Constructors' Championship, achieving this feat in 1958. Founded and funded by industrialist Tony Vandervell, Vanwall represented British engineering excellence. The team featured innovative aerodynamic design and powerful engines. Stirling Moss achieved multiple victories with Vanwall in 1957-1958. The distinctive British Racing Green cars were a symbol of national pride.
After Vandervell's health declined, the team withdrew from F1 at the end of 1960. Vanwall's success paved the way for the British constructor dominance that would define F1 in subsequent decades.
