
Al Pease (October 15, 1921 - May 4, 2014): A British-Canadian racing driver, Al Pease is known for his participation in Formula One, representing Canada in the 1967, 1968, and 1969 Canadian Grands Prix. He holds the distinction of being the only driver disqualified from a World Championship race for being too slow, which occurred during the 1969 Canadian Grand Prix. Despite his F1 challenges, Pease was successful in Canadian domestic racing and was inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame in 1998.
