
Bob Said (May 5, 1932 - March 24, 2002): An American racing driver, Said competed in various motorsport disciplines, including sports car racing and NASCAR. He was the first American to win a road race in Europe after World War II, achieving this feat in 1953. Said also participated in the 1959 United States Grand Prix, although he did not qualify for the race. Beyond racing, he was a member of the U.
S. Olympic bobsled team in 1968. His son, Boris Said, followed in his footsteps, becoming a professional racing driver.
