
Chico Landi (July 14, 1907 - June 7, 1989): Born Francisco Sacco Landi in São Paulo, Brazil, he was the first Brazilian driver to compete in Formula One. Landi participated in six World Championship Grands Prix between 1951 and 1956, scoring a total of 1.5 championship points. He made history by finishing fourth in the 1956 Argentine Grand Prix, sharing the drive with Gerino Gerini, marking the first time a Brazilian scored points in Formula One.
Landi was also the first Brazilian to win a Grand Prix race, taking victory at the 1948 Bari Grand Prix driving a Ferrari.
