
Olivier Henri Aldo Leopold Beretta (23 November 1969 - Present): Monegasque racing driver who became the first Monegasque in Grand Prix racing in approximately 35 years. Beretta began racing in French Formula 3 in 1989, taking a victory and two podiums including third at Monaco in 1990. He competed in French and British F3 championships in 1991 before joining Nelson Piquet's team for F3000 International in 1992, though the season proved disappointing. In 1993, he moved to Forti Corse, taking pole position and winning the season's first race at Donington Park.
Beretta participated in 10 Formula 1 grands prix in 1994 for Larrousse alongside Erik Comas, debuting on 27 March. His career-best result was seventh in Germany, with his final race being ninth in Hungary. He scored no championship points and was replaced when his sponsorship ran out. He tested for Williams in 2003-2004. Post-F1, Beretta achieved remarkable success in sportscar racing, winning the 1999 FIA GT Championship and taking class victories at Le Mans in 1999 and 2000 with Viper GTS-Rs and in 2004, 2005, and 2006 with Corvettes, becoming one of the world's most experienced and respected GT drivers.
