Rio Haryanto (22 January 1993 - Present): Indonesian racing driver from Surakarta, Indonesia, who remains Indonesia's only Formula One competitor and the series' first Muslim driver. Competed in F1 for Manor Racing in 2016, making 12 starts with a career-best finish of 15th at Monaco. After winning the 2009 Formula BMW Pacific Championship and showing promise in GP2 (finishing 4th overall in 2015 with three wins), Haryanto joined Manor alongside Pascal Wehrlein. However, due to lack of sponsorship funding, he was replaced by Esteban Ocon from the Belgian Grand Prix onwards and moved to a reserve driver role.
Post-F1, Haryanto announced his retirement from racing in 2018 to concentrate on the family business, one of the largest stationery and exercise book producers in Indonesia.
