Caterham F1 Team
Caterham F1 Team was one of the three new teams that joined Formula One in 2010 following the FIA's call for budget-capped entries. Originally founded as Lotus Racing (unrelated to the historic Team Lotus), the team was rebranded as Caterham in 2012 after being purchased by Tony Fernandes. Despite significant investment and hiring experienced personnel, Caterham never scored a point in their five seasons of competition. The team's distinctive green livery made them recognizable at the back of the grid.
Financial difficulties forced Caterham into administration midway through 2014, with the team missing the last three races and folding completely before 2015.
