Jaguar Racing
Jaguar Racing was Ford's works team in Formula One from 2000-2004, created when Ford rebranded their Stewart Grand Prix team. Despite significant investment and the prestigious Jaguar name, the team underperformed expectations, never achieving a victory. Their best results were two third-place finishes. The team featured distinctive British Racing Green livery and marquee drivers including Eddie Irvine, Johnny Herbert, and a young Mark Webber.
Mounting costs and disappointing results led Ford to sell the team to Red Bull at the end of 2004. Jaguar Racing's failure demonstrated that heritage and funding alone cannot guarantee F1 success.
