Stewart Grand Prix
Stewart Grand Prix was founded by three-time World Champion Jackie Stewart and his son Paul Stewart in 1997. The team was financed by Ford and featured the distinctive tartan logo honoring Stewart's Scottish heritage. After a challenging debut season, Stewart GP improved significantly, with Johnny Herbert scoring the team's only victory at the 1999 European Grand Prix in a wet race at the Nürburgring. Rubens Barrichello also drove for the team before moving to Ferrari.
At the end of 1999, Ford purchased the team outright and rebranded it as Jaguar Racing. Stewart GP represented a legend's attempt to succeed as a team owner.
