Jordan Grand Prix
Jordan Grand Prix was founded by Irish entrepreneur Eddie Jordan in 1991 and quickly became known for their distinctive yellow and green liveries and ability to spot young talent. The team gave Michael Schumacher his F1 debut at the 1991 Belgian Grand Prix. Jordan achieved their first victory at the 1998 Belgian Grand Prix with Damon Hill and went on to win three more races. The team finished third in the 1999 Constructors' Championship, their best result.
Jordan launched the careers of several champions including Schumacher, Eddie Irvine, and Giancarlo Fisichella. Financial pressures led to the team being sold to Midland Group in 2005.
