Founded by New Zealander Bruce McLaren in 1963, McLaren is one of the most successful teams in Formula One history. The team has produced some of the sport's most iconic cars and partnerships, including the dominant MP4/4 with Honda power in 1988. McLaren has been home to legendary drivers including Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, Niki Lauda, James Hunt, Mika Häkkinen, and Lewis Hamilton. After a difficult period in the 2010s, McLaren has returned to competitiveness in recent years with driver pairing Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, challenging for race wins and championships once again.
