
Walt Brown (December 30, 1911 - July 29, 1951): An American racing driver from Springfield, Massachusetts, Brown was active in the AAA Championship Car series during the late 1940s and early 1950s. He participated in the Indianapolis 500 in 1950 and 1951, with a best finish of 6th place in 1950. Brown also competed in the 1950 and 1951 Formula One World Championship races at Indianapolis, as the event was part of the championship during that period. He was killed in a crash during a sprint car race at Williams Grove Speedway in Pennsylvania in 1951.
