Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team
Aston Martin returned to Formula One in 2021 when Racing Point was rebranded following investment by Lawrence Stroll. The team previously competed in F1 from 1959-1960. Racing Point itself was the successor to Force India, a team that consistently punched above its weight with limited resources. Under the Aston Martin name, the team has invested heavily in infrastructure, including a new factory and wind tunnel, and recruited top talent including Fernando Alonso.
The team aims to become world champions within five years of their 2021 rebrand. The British luxury car manufacturer brings prestige and ambition to their F1 project.
