RB F1 Team (formerly Scuderia AlphaTauri and Scuderia Toro Rosso) serves as Red Bull Racing's sister team and driver development program. Founded in 2006 when Red Bull purchased the Minardi team, Toro Rosso provided a platform for Red Bull's junior drivers to gain F1 experience. The team achieved its greatest success at the 2008 Italian Grand Prix, where a young Sebastian Vettel scored their only win in rainy conditions. Rebranded as AlphaTauri in 2020 to promote Red Bull's fashion brand, and then as RB in 2024, the team has launched the careers of many successful drivers including Max Verstappen, Daniel Ricciardo, Carlos Sainz, and Pierre Gasly.
